What is the Reports App?

๐Ÿ“‘

Standard Report

Pre-built, printable summary of aggregate (monthly dataset) data for a selected facility and period. Ready to print or save as PDF.

๐Ÿ“Š

Reporting Rate Summary

Shows which facilities have submitted data for a given dataset and month โ€” and which haven't. Essential for completeness monitoring.

๐Ÿ—„๏ธ

Aggregate Data Only

Reads from the monthly aggregate dataset (Data Entry app), not from the Capture event programmes.

Where to find it: Log in to savedhis2.helloworldnepal.com โ†’ Apps grid โ‹ฎโ‹ฎโ‹ฎ โ†’ Reports

Standard Report Overview

๐Ÿ“‹

This Instance Has One Standard Report

"Section A โ€” Adolescent Service Utilization (Health Facility)" โ€” a formatted summary of the monthly aggregate dataset, broken into sections matching the data entry form.

๐Ÿฅ

Facility-Level Output

Run for a single org unit (health facility or ward) and one reporting period (month). Output is a formatted HTML table โ€” ideal for printing and filing at the facility.

๐Ÿ“…

Use Cases

Monthly facility review meetings ยท paper records backup ยท supervisor verification visits ยท sharing printed summary with facility in-charge.

๐Ÿ”—

Data Source

Reads from: "Health facility data collection tools (Health facility level)" โ€” the monthly dataset submitted via DHIS2 Data Entry app. Not the Capture programmes.

Standard Report vs Reporting Rate Summary

๐Ÿ“‘ Standard Report

  • โ€ขOne facility, one month at a time
  • โ€ขShows the actual data values entered (counts, totals)
  • โ€ขFormatted for printing / PDF
  • โ€ขUsed for: facility review, paper backup, supervisor visit
  • โ€ขRequires data to already be submitted
  • โ€ขRun AFTER facility has submitted

๐Ÿ“Š Reporting Rate Summary

  • โ€ขMultiple facilities in one view
  • โ€ขShows whether data was submitted โ€” not the values
  • โ€ขTabular, used on screen or exported
  • โ€ขUsed for: completeness monitoring, chasing missing submissions
  • โ€ขRun BEFORE the deadline to identify gaps
  • โ€ขRun AFTER the deadline to record final completeness %
Combined workflow: Use Reporting Rate Summary to confirm all facilities submitted โ†’ then use Standard Report to review the content of each submission.
