Hello World IT Solutions was founded in Kathmandu to close that gap. We combine deep expertise in open-source health platforms — DHIS2, OpenHIM, and FHIR — with full-stack custom development capability. When proven platforms fit, we implement them. When they don't, we build something that does.
Our work spans national surveillance systems to frontline mobile data collection. Every project is grounded in the real operational realities of healthcare in Nepal and South Asia.

No proprietary lock-in. No licensing traps. Everything we build runs on open-source foundations — DHIS2 (GPL-2.0), OpenHIM (MPL-2.0), and FHIR tooling (Apache 2.0). Our own tools and scripts are released under the MIT license. Your data and your systems stay yours, forever.

We don't design for ideal conditions. We build for 2G connections, power cuts, and field workers using a smartphone for the first time. Constraints aren't obstacles — they're the specification.

Most vendors either understand health data or know how to build software. We do both — and we've spent years translating between clinical workflows and engineering reality.
